A bandanna is normally square in form and produced of cotton. Bandannas come in a multitude of colours and quite often have elaborate paisley patterns on them. Most bandannas are either 17 inches or 22 inches square. The former is good for building a skull face mask, whereas the latter is excellent for creating an adult's mask. Men and women wear bandanna masks to help keep grime and debris from getting into their mouths, to protect their faces in serious wind or to maintain their faces warm once the weather is cold.
